Registration fees

Registration fees for participants include: Participation in all scientific sessions, program, abstract book. Symposium printed material and an invitation to the symposia reception on Friday evening. 

Register early
Please note that registration for the workshops is only possible in combination with a registration for the PROMIS II symposium. The number of places available in each workshop is limited. Places will be assigned on a first come ....first served bases. The symposium is not limited. Participation in more than 1 workshop is possible, each requiring separate registration.

Your experience
To ensure the quality of the PROMIS workshops we need from you, some indication of your level of experience regarding the different techniques listed below. Therefore in order to make groups with similar experience, may we ask you to indicate how often you perform the different techniques, that will be practiced during the hands-on-workshops.

Cancellation conditions
Cancellation of hotel accomodation is only possible before Octber 30, 2006. Cancellation of registration is only possible before October 7th 2006 minus 75 Euro administration costs.

CME accredidation is being sought.

Hotels

We made special deals with several hotels in Ghent to you can choose from for your stay. On the registration form you can indicate the hotel of your choise.

Breakfast and VAT are included in the room price.
NO CONFIRMATION can be supplied unless we receive your full payment for the hotel.
Cancellation of the hotel accommodation is only possible before pctober 30, 2006.

Explanation

Conference Venue 
The conference will be held in the International Congress Centre (ICC) of Ghent (http://www.icc-gent.com/). The ICC is situated in the Citadel Park, a green oasis. It is located at about 1 km from the main train station (Gent Sint-Pieters) and is less than 2 km to the south of the historic city center. The modernized building is located in a unique environment where Art, sports, gastronomy and science meet. The reputable Museum van Schone Kunsten (Gallery of Fine Arts) and the recently established but already renowned SMAK are within walking distance. The ICC in Ghent is the most advanced and comprehensive conference hall in Belgium. 

Accommodation 
Hotel rooms in different price categories have been reserved for the Promis symposium 2005 participants. Ghent has over 25 hotels. Several of these are within walking distance of the conference site. For virtually all, there are frequent connections by public transport (tram and/or bus) to the conference site. The price for a single or double room with bath is in the range of 76 to 250 Euro per night. You can outline this on the subscription form. Breakfast and VAT are included in the room price. No confirmation can be supplied unless we receive your full payment for the hotel.

Accompanying guest
A special program will be organized for accompanying guests.

Symposium reception
“Warm-Welcome” reception with Belgian beers in the Town-Hall of the City of Ghent on Friday evening from 17.45 - 20:00. A shuttle bus will bring you from the Symposium venue to the historic city center.

Language 
The official language of the symposium is English . all abstracts must be submitted in English and all lectures will be delivered in English. 

Currency 
In Belgium all currency are carried out in Euros. There is no restriction on bringing foreign currency into Belgium. There are no limits for travelers cheques and all major credit cards are widely accepted. 

Commercial exhibition 
A trade exhibition of medical products, medical books, surgical instruments and equipment will be held on the symposium place. Please contact us if you want to participate with your company: promis@semico.be

On your arrival how to get to the venue
Brussels airport in located 70 km from Ghent city. There are regular train and busses to Ghent center. 

Identification badges
All participants and accompanying are requested to wear their ID badges throughout the symposium.
